1:1 Virtual CBT Therapy for Adults

Understanding your mind, empowering your life. Do you feel anxious or overwhelmed, like your worries have spiralled out of control and you just can't seem to relax? Or constant overthinking, stuck in a loop of worry with no way out, and a restless feeling in your mind that won't switch off, even when you're exhausted?

Maybe it's something else: feeling down, depressed, or hopeless, like everything is just too much, where even day-to-day tasks feel unmanageable and easier to avoid altogether. No motivation, no pleasure in the things you used to enjoy, negative thoughts beating you down until it feels like a vicious cycle you can't escape, and it seems like things can't or won't change.

CBT is an evidence-based, one-to-one therapy that can help you understand and break this vicious cycle, working through practical techniques to manage anxiety and tackle depression. Sessions are delivered online, for adults, at a pace that suits you, with no waiting rooms. You don't have to carry this alone.

Kainaat Qadri

I'm a BABCP accredited High Intensity CBT Therapist, working with adults experiencing anxiety and depression through one-to-one, virtual therapy. My approach is warm, collaborative and structured. I believe therapy works best when it's built around you, not a fixed script.

Mind & You Therapy was founded to make evidence-based, high-quality CBT more accessible — without the waiting rooms. Every session is delivered virtually, so you can work through what's affecting you from a space where you feel safe and settled.

I work within the BABCP's ethical framework, and my practice is grounded in structured, evidence-based CBT, while always staying attentive to your individual needs, pace and goals.

CBT Therapy Treatment

Structured, evidence-based CBT sessions, tailored around you. Each session is person-centred and works collaboratively towards SMART goals to help you move past what's holding you back. Between sessions, you'll be supported with structured tasks to build on progress made in session, a core part of what distinguishes CBT from more general counselling or talking therapy.

Top-up / Refresher Session

Available to existing clients who have completed their agreed course of CBT, where a top-up session is clinically appropriate. These sessions can help maintain progress, revisit strategies, or manage new challenges as they arise.

CBT is a structured, goal-focused therapy, and the number of sessions you need will depend on your individual circumstances and treatment goals. Most courses of therapy involve 6–20 sessions, with your progress reviewed throughout treatment. Some people may benefit from a shorter course, whilst others may require additional sessions. Once you've completed your agreed course of therapy, you can access top-up sessions when appropriate, to help maintain progress, revisit strategies or manage new challenges.
Top-up and refresher sessions are intended for clients who have previously completed an agreed course of CBT with Mind & You Therapy. If you present with a new or significantly changed difficulty requiring further assessment or treatment, a new initial assessment may be recommended.
Payment & cancellations Payment for assessments and therapy sessions is required in advance to secure your appointment. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. Cancellations or missed appointments with less than 48 hours' notice will normally incur the full session fee. Full terms are set out in your Therapy Contract, provided when you book your initial assessment.
Understanding CBT

Small, structured changes in thinking and behaviour can shift how you feel.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a structured, evidence-based talking therapy. It works from a simple idea: our thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours are all connected. Small, deliberate changes in one area can ease difficulties in the others.

CBT is one of the most widely researched and recommended therapies for anxiety and depression, and is suited to a range of severity — from mild, everyday difficulties to more moderate or severe presentations — with the pace and depth of work adapted to you.

Most people attend between 6 and 20 sessions, depending on their individual difficulties and how therapy progresses. This is never fixed at the outset. We review it together throughout treatment.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression and related difficulties, across mild, moderate and severe presentations. During your consultation, we'll discuss whether CBT is a good fit for what you're experiencing.

Yes. Sessions are confidential and I work within the BABCP's ethical framework, with the usual professional exceptions around risk of serious harm, which I'll explain clearly at the outset.

We'll agree a personalised plan together and begin structured CBT sessions, usually weekly. Your progress and the number of sessions is reviewed collaboratively as we go.
